Push Notifications are a great way to communicate instantly to your user base.

With our Selective Push Notifications, you’ll be able to send your message to the right users at the right time by creating groups (or channels) to which the users can subscribe or selecting a user(s) based on custom parameters.

Keep in mind that push notifications are a premium feature, so if you do not have them, you’ll need to upgrade.

Creating Subscription Groups

Create groups based on the interests that your users have. Some examples might include: Daily Deals, New Menu Items, etc.

This allows them to subscribe to various groups and get targeted push notifications.

Creating a Standard Push Notification

  1. Click “Send Push Notification”
  2. Give it a title
  3. Select either All Users, a Group, or a Custom Segment to specify the audience you would like to receive this message.
  4. Fill out the Message
  5. Fill out the Rich Message. Note: If you don't set up a Rich Message, the standard Message will appear instead.
  6. You can send it now or schedule it for later
  7. Click “Add”

Once you’ve added your push notification, you do not need to click publish in order for it to be sent.

Creating RSS-Based Push Notifications
You can set up RSS-Based Push Notifications to send whenever a new entry is added to the RSS feed.

In order to set them up, you create the message just like you would a Standard Push Notification, but instead of choosing a time to send it, you'll enter your feed.
