In this lesson we’ll go over the White Label website that we offer for free to all of our reseller partners. Here we’ll go over what you get with the white label website, what to consider when deciding between using the website that we offer or your own, and the different sections of the website.

The subjects covered in this article are:

  • What you get with the White Label Website

  • How to decide if you should use the website that we offer or your own

  • How to access the white label website controls in the admin control panel

  • The different sections of the White Label Website

What you get with the White Label Website

Having your own website is priceless for your business. It’s there to give new customers a first impression of you and your business, provide them answers to their questions about the services that you offer, gives them quick and easy ways to get in contact with you, and acts as a 24/7 salesman that you can use to impress your customers when you’re not available.

As you know, having a website is important to a business — but you may not have the time or resources to build one on your own which is where our white label website comes in. It’s pre-built for you, is sleek, mobile-responsive which is really important for a mobile app business, and is easy to configure. Just like you don’t need coding knowledge to build an app on Buildfire, you don’t need it to build your website either.

Using Our White Label Website vs. Your Own

Before we go over the different sections of the white label website there are a couple of things to consider when deciding on using the website that we offer or your own.

As we mentioned before one of the major advantages to using our website is that it’s already created for you and it’s easy to configure with your information. Now with that being said, if you want more control over your business’ website in terms of customization then you may want to consider creating your own website. What we mean by that is with our website you can show or hide different sections of the site, as well as change most of the information within those sections, but you can’t reorder them or change the color scheme of the site.

With our website it’s already integrated with your White Label account. Some of these integrations will take a bit more work to implement into your own website if you decided to make one, and some you wouldn’t fully be able to implement. So it’s up to you to decide if you want to use the website that we offer or create your own.

If you decide to use our website, you can always switch over to using your own in the future, so there’s really no disadvantage to start off with using ours. Before you get started with setting up your website, make sure to email us at wlsupport@buildfire.com so that our team can activate it first. Once you’ve done that, then you can start configuring your website.

Next we’ll go over how to access the white label website controls in the white label admin control panel and what each section of the website is.

How to access the White Label Website controls in the admin control panel

You can access the white label website controls by logging-in to your Admin Control Panel and clicking on the “White Label Website” tab on the left-hand side menu:

The different sections of the White Label Website

Once you’re on the “White Label Website” tab you’ll see a number of different sections. These allow you to configure the various sections of your white label website. These sections are:

White Label Website

In the White Label Website section you can specify the URL that you’re going to use as well as change the headline and subtitle that appear at the top of the website:

Intro

In the Intro section you can set up an introductory message for your site as well as give people an easy to read overview of the app building process. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Demo

In the Demo section you can add a list of features that your apps offer as well as provide your customers with a couple of demo apps to try. You’ll need to have a couple of apps already created in your white label account in order to do this. This is a great way to give your customers a taste of what they’ll get if they decide to build their app in your system. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Features

The Features section allows you to display some of the most popular features that our system offers. Here you can adjust the headline and subtitle for the section. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Left Right & Right Left

The Left Right and Right Left sections allow you to display text alongside professional looking images of your choice. You can adjust the headline and subtitle for these sections and upload images for them in the Images section. You also have the option of showing or hiding these sections on your site.

Testimonials

In the Testimonials section you can display positive feedback from customers and users of your apps. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

FAQ

In the FAQ section you can provide answers to commonly asked questions which is a great way to give customers a quick overview of what to expect if they make an app with you. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Team

In the Team section you can upload photos of you and your app building team. This is a great way to help put a face to your business and gives your customers a feeling that they’re dealing with real people and not just an automated system. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Pricing

In the Pricing section you can display all of your pricing plans along with the features that come with each plan. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Download

In the Download section you can provide people links to your app’s listings in the Apple and Google app stores so that they can download the apps to try for themselves. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Contact

In the Contact section you can provide customers with the best way to get in contact with you and your team. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

In the Footer section you can upload URLs for all of your social media pages. You also have the option of showing or hiding this section on your site.

Business

In the Business section you can specify your business’ name, provide your team’s support email address, and set up the URL that the “Sign Up” button takes customers to when they click it. If you’ve set up your DIY page we highly recommend that you enter your DIY page’s URL here so that customers can begin creating their own apps. If you haven’t already done this we recommend you do so if you’re planning on allowing your customers to build their own apps. You can learn how to set up your DIY page in this lesson.

Images

In the Images section you can upload all of the images that are used in the website. Here you’ll see the recommended image dimensions as well which makes it extremely easy to make sure your website looks the best it can.

Once you have completed configuring these sections to your liking make sure you click “Save” at the bottom of the page to save your changes:

If you’re previewing your white label website in another tab you’ll need to refresh that tab in order to see your changes take effect.

Congratulations! You now know how to configure your white label website! This concludes our white label lessons. Now that you’ve gone through these lessons you should have all of the knowledge you need to begin running your white label account.
