The Mortgage Estimator feature provides a quick and convenient way for your users to estimate their monthly mortgage payments.

Overview:

The Mortgage Estimator feature provides a quick and convenient way for your users to estimate their monthly mortgage payments. They can Input their loan amount, interest rate, loan term, and property tax (if needed) and the feature will instantly calculate their payments, helping them to plan their budget and make informed decisions about their home purchase.

How to use it?

In your control panel click on "Marketplace" search "Mortgage Estimator" and click on the Green + button on the bottom left of the plugin to add it.

Once added you will need to give the plugin a title and then click "add" to link it to your used features.

Now that you've added the plugin you can begin to tailor it to your needs withing your app

You can add to the WYSIWYG editor to provide an introduction to the feature and functionality.

In this plugin, you have the ability to calculate your monthly mortgage with a few data points:

  • Add your Home Value

  • Select Amount or Percentage under Down Payment

  • Enter your Down Payment Amount

  • Enter your Annual Interest Rate

  • Add your Loand Term

  • you can toggle on or off the ability to include property tax

  • Click Calculate

Based on the data provided you will get an estimated monthly mortgage payment.

Design Customization

Under "Design" you have the ability to enable CSS to customize the design and layout of this plugin. Please note that CSS is a premium feature and is not available on the lower-tiered plans, if this is something you would like to enable you will need to upgrade your subscription by reaching out to Support@BuildFire.com
