The Security tab lets you control who can access a plugin. You can require users to log in before viewing content and apply tag-based rules that allow or deny access depending on the tags assigned to their profile. This helps you manage permissions for staff, members, premium users, locations, or any custom logic

How to use the Security tab access settings

  1. Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation

  2. Open the plugin you want to restrict

  3. Click the Security tab

  4. Turn on Require Login if you want only logged-in users to access the plugin

  5. Turn on Require Tags to add tag-based access rules

  6. Add the tags users must have to gain access

    • Start typing a tag name to see existing tags

    • Select a tag such as admin or profile town:Chester

    • Add as many tags as needed

  7. Set the minimum number of times each tag must be applied to a user

    • Minimum is one

  8. Choose how access is granted

    • Match Any Tags allows access if a user has at least one of the required tags

    • Match All Tags allows access only if a user has every tag on the list

  9. Click Add Tags to apply the access rule

  10. Review your settings to confirm expected behavior

    • Example: a user tagged with both admin and profile town:Paris at least once will be able to access the plugin
