Overview

To publish apps to the App Store, you must be fully enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an organization or individual. Incomplete enrollment will prevent you from accessing essential tools like App Store Connect and certificate management.

Required

You’ll need access to the Apple ID you used during enrollment and be signed in as the Account Holder.

How to confirm your Apple Developer Program enrollment

  1. Log in to Apple Developer with your Apple ID:

    1. Click Membership in the left navigation menu.

    2. Look under Program Type — it should say either Individual or Organization.

    3. Check the Status field — it must say Active.

    4. Look for your Team Name and Team ID — these confirm you’re associated with a valid account.

    5. If your account shows Pending, Expired, or Incomplete, you’ll need to finish the enrollment process or contact Apple Support.

  2. Open a new tab and go to App Store Connect:

    1. Confirm that you can access App Store Connect and see the My Apps and Users and Access sections.

    2. If you see a message that you haven’t completed enrollment, click the link to resume enrollment or follow the on-screen instructions.

Troubleshooting tips

  • Status not Active: You may not have completed payment or your enrollment may have expired.

  • No access to App Store Connect: You must be fully enrolled and signed in as the Account Holder.

  • Can’t find Team ID or Team Name: These only appear once your account is fully approved.
