Hey There!

You may have noticed that we’ve added some features to our Feature Marketplace over the past couple of months and we wanted to take a moment to let all of our loyal BuildFire users know about the six latest additions to our system so that you can make your already great app even better! Here’s what we’ve been working hard on these past couple of months:

The Content Scheduler

The Content Scheduler is a feature that allows you to set up content that’s released over a period of time set up by you. With it you can create different categories of content and send users to all sorts of features and elements in your app all on your own timeframe which is great for apps featuring weekly or daily classes!

This is a premium feature, so if you would like to add it to your app, please reach out to us at proservices@buildfire.com where one of our App Specialists would be more than happy to discuss adding this to your app!

Events Manual 2.0

The Events Manual 2.0 feature is a great upgrade to our pre-existing Events Manual feature. With it users can now RSVP for events, purchase tickets for those events, as well as pull up a map to see all of the events happening in their area!

This feature is free to all plans, but you will need to generate your own Google Maps API key in order for the feature to work properly. This is so that the map view can accurately display all of the event’s locations. Don’t know how to generate a Google Maps API key? Then we encourage you to check out our article which takes you through the steps on how to generate one which you can find here.

The Image Gallery is a great alternative to our Image Slider feature which allows you to showcase images in your app using a clean and intuitive image gallery! You also have the ability to create folders, or collections of images which can help you organize them or showcase images that you’d like users to view first.

This is a free feature to all plan levels, and If you would like to learn more about this feature, you can do so here.

The Push Plugin

With the Push Plugin you can send push notifications directly from your app! No longer are the days of needing to log-in to the App Dashboard in order to send out a notification. If you would like to learn more about this feature, you can do so here.

If you would like to add this feature to your app, it is on a subscription of $100/month and can be added to apps on any of our plans.

The Task Manager

The Task Manager feature allows companies to implement a system where managers can delegate tasks to their teams, as well as allow team members to create their own list of tasks. In this feature you can add tasks, adjust a task’s status, and converse with your teammates all within your app! This is also a great feature for people who want to give their users the ability to create to-do lists in their app! If you would like to learn more about this feature you can do so here.

The Questionnaire

With the Questionnaire Feature you can create a survey, quiz, or test with multiple choice, true or false, and write-in questions. You can also have the ability to adjust different settings for your quiz such as assigning point values to questions, give users the ability to retake the quiz, or randomize the order of the questions. Over time you’ll also be able to see how well your users are doing on the quiz. If you would like to learn more about this feature you can do so here.
