The Folder plugin is one of the most powerful organization tools in Buildfire. It lets you group multiple plugins and features into a single section, making it easier for users to navigate your app and discover related content.
Folders are commonly used to organize resources, blog content, social links, internal tools, or any set of features you want to present together. You can customize the layout, add images and rich text, and control feature visibility based on login status, tags, or purchases.

Disable: Feature is visible but read-only
Hide: Feature is completely hidden from users who don’t meet the requirements
Click the Security tab

(Optional) Apply tag-based restrictions

Apply behavioral tags to users when they visit the folder
Click the Purchase tab
Require a purchase or subscription to access the folder

Pro tips
Use folders to reduce clutter by grouping related features instead of adding many items to the main navigation
Pair folders with tag-based visibility to create personalized app experiences
Test secured feature visibility in the app preview, since it does not apply inside the Control Panel
