How to use the Questionnaire Analytics plugin

Track streaks, scores, submissions, and custom metrics from your connected questionnaire

The Questionnaire Analytics plugin is the companion tool for the Questionnaire plugin. It displays streaks, score averages, submission history, and custom stats based on user answers. You can enable preset metrics, build your own custom stats, connect to any questionnaire, and optionally assign different questionnaires per date throughout the year

How to use the Questionnaire Analytics plugin

  1. Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation

  2. Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace

    • Search for Questionnaire Analytics, then click Add Plugin

    • Name your plugin and choose whether to add it to the side menu, then click Add

  3. Stay in the Content tab

    • You can enable or disable any of these stats displayed

      1. Daily Streak

      2. Average Score

      3. Average Score (30 days)

    • Edit a stat by clicking the pencil icon

      1. Update its title

      2. Choose which statistic it should display, such as:

        1. Total Score

        2. Total Number of Submissions

        3. Custom

    • To use a custom statistic

      1. Select Custom in the stat editor

      2. Enter a Question ID copied from your Questionnaire plugin

      3. Choose whether the stat should use All Users or Individual User

      4. Choose a value type such as Answer’s Number Value or Score

      5. Select a calculation such as Average, Max, Min, Sum

      6. Select an output format such as Number or Duration

  4. Click the Settings tab

    • Connect a questionnaire

      1. Select the questionnaire you want to use

      2. Click Apply to confirm

      3. Questionnaire Analytics will now pull data from this connected questionnaire

    • Review visibility and history settings

      1. Turn Show Stats on or off

      2. Turn Show History on or off to display or hide submission history

      3. Add a tag to limit history visibility to specific users

    • Configure history display options

      1. Enable or disable Show Score in History

      2. Enable or disable Show First Answer in Submission Preview

      3. Enable or disable Allow Multiple Submissions per Calendar Day

      4. Enable or disable Allow Editing Submission

      5. Enable or disable Allow Delete Submission

      6. Enable or disable Always Show Question Titles

    • Turn on Allow Override Questionnaire if you want different questionnaires for different dates

      1. For each date, select a questionnaire

      2. Optionally enable Repeat Annually to reuse the same questionnaire every year on that date

      3. Note: Custom stats cannot be used when questionnaire override is enabled

    • Add a new stat container

      1. Click Add Stat

      2. Enter a title

      3. Choose between Total Number of Submissions, Total Score, or Custom

      4. Configure as needed by adjusting scoring or question types in the Questionnaire plugin if needed

        1. For example, number-based custom stats require a Number-type question

  5. To test it out, in the App Preview:

    • Click the + button in the widget

    • Complete a questionnaire submission

    • Return to the analytics plugin to see the updated results

  6. Click the Design tab

    • Adjust layout style

    • Enable advanced mode to customize CSS

  7. Click the Security tab

    • Turn on Require Login to restrict feature access to logged-in users

    • (Optional) Add tag-based restrictions and choose whether to match any or all tags

  8. Click the Tagging tab

    • Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature

    • Click Add Tag

  9. Click the Purchase tab

    • Check Require Purchase to enable

    • Choose your product type such as Single Purchase or Subscription

    • Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages

  10. Click the Analytics tab to see feature performance

    • View engagement statistics, daily activity, and user behavior

  1. Use custom stats to highlight the metrics that matter most to your app

  2. Combine streaks with daily questionnaires to encourage recurring engagement

  3. Use questionnaire overrides for seasonal, annual, or rotating content experiences
