The YouTube plugin allows you to display video content from your YouTube account inside your app. You can connect a single video, a playlist, or a channel feed. You can also add supporting text, an image carousel, customize the design, set access restrictions, and track usage with analytics.
Requirements
- This is a Boost plugin, available on the Standard, Growth, and Scale plans. 
- An active YouTube account. 
- A link to your YouTube channel, playlist, or video. 
How to use the YouTube plugin
- Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation 
- Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace - Search for YouTube, then click Add Plugin 
 Name your plugin (e.g., “Videos”) and click Add
 
- In the Content tab - Choose your content type - Channel feed – paste your YouTube channel URL 
- Playlist – paste your YouTube playlist link 
 Single video – paste the link for one YouTube video
 
- Click Save. If successful, the feed or video will be validated and appear in the preview 
- (Optional) Add a summary text box at the top (e.g., “Welcome to my channel”) 
- (Optional) Use the text editor to insert images or rich content 
- (Optional) Add an image carousel at the top of the page 
 
- In the Design tab - Change the item list layout 
- Update the list background or item detail background images 
 
- In the Security tab - Turn on Require Login to limit access to logged-in users 
- (Optional) Add tag-based restrictions to control access by user tags 
 
- In the Tagging tab - Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users who open this feature 
- Click Add Tag 
 
- In the Purchase tab - Check Require Purchase to enable 
- Choose your product type (single purchase or subscription) 
 Upload an image, add purchase text, and set success/failure messages
 
- In the Analytics tab - View data such as daily views, top users, and device details 
 
Pro tips
- Use a channel feed if you want your app to automatically update with new videos. 
- Use a playlist link if you want to feature a specific collection of videos. 
- Use a single video link for one-time or featured content. 
- If validation fails, confirm the link is copied directly from your YouTube account.
