The Personalized Screen plugin lets you display different content to users based on tags. This is useful for creating multilingual home screens or customizing content based on user roles or behavior.
Requirements
This is a Boost plugin, available on the Standard, Growth, and Scale plans.
Users must be logged in.
You must set up tagged using a required custom field from the login screen.
How to customize content using the Personalized Screen plugin
Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation.
Set up tagging on the login screen by going to User Access in the left navigation:
Click Login Screen, then click Customize.
Add a new custom field.
Select Single Select.
Mark it as Required.
Name the field (e.g., "Language").
Add options like English, Spanish, German.
Click Generate Options to automatically create a tag for each option.
Click Save.
Navigate to the Builder in the left navigation.
Click the + button at the top left to open the Plugin Marketplace.
Search for Personalized Screen, then click Add Plugin.
Name your plugin (e.g., "Home"), then click Add.
In the Content Tab:
Add Header Content — this will display for all users.
Add Default Content — this will show for users who don’t match an override.
Click Add Override to create customized views.
Name the override (e.g., "Spanish").
Select a Tag (e.g., "Language: Spanish") or manually select individual users.
Click Insert, then choose a layout and add your custom content.
Click Save.
Repeat step 5 for each override (e.g., English, German).
Click the Security tab:
Turn on Require Login to restrict access to logged-in users.
Click the Tagging tab:
Add behavioral tags that apply when a user opens this feature.
Click the Purchase tab:
Turn on Require Purchase to enable.
Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription).
Upload an image, fill out purchase details, and add success/failure messages.
Click the Analytics tab:
View usage data such as daily views and top users.
Pro tips
Overrides are based on tags generated during login—make sure users are logged in and have completed the required field.
Navigation bar, side menu, splash screen, and loading screen do not change based on overrides—only the Personalized Screen content does.
