The Rate Me plugin lets users submit topics (like people, places, or ideas) and rate them using a 5-star system. Other users can vote, comment, and flag inappropriate content. This is ideal for running voting contests, collecting ratings, or letting your community surface the best ideas.

This is a Boost plugin, available on the Standard, Growth, and Scale plans
Login is required for users to submit or rate items
How to use the Rate Me plugin
Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation
Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace
Search for Rate Me, then click Add Plugin
Give your plugin a name (e.g., “Ratings”), then click Add
Stay in the Content tab
Use the editor to write a welcome message or instructions
Format it with text size, alignment, bullets, or colors
Tap the + icon in the preview to submit a new rating topic
Add an image and description
Add optional details and tap Add Item
Tap the 1–5 star scale to rate the item
Add a text comment (optional)
Tap Save to submit your vote
Tap Update to change your rating or comment later
Tap Report Abuse on a rating if inappropriate content is posted
Select a reason and tap Report
Go to the Design tab
Turn on Advanced mode to customize layout using CSS. Only use this if you or your team has CSS experience
Go to the Settings tab
Add a tag restriction if you want only certain users to submit new items
Leave blank to allow all users to participate
Go to the Security tab
Turn on Require Login
(Optional) Add tag restrictions for additional control
Go to the Tagging tab
Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature
Click Add Tag
Go to the Purchase tab
Check Require Purchase to enable
Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription)
Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages
Go to the Analytics tab to see feature performance
View data such as number of views, users, and devices over time
Go to the Language tab
Customize field names and labels such as
“Search”
“Update Item”
“Report Abuse”
“Share,” “Bookmark,” “Read More,” etc
Pro tips
If a user doesn’t have a name saved to their profile, their post will show as “Unknown user”.

For abuse review, content isn’t removed automatically—you must moderate flagged items in the Users section.
To review abuse reports:
Go to Users > Abuse Reports in the control panel
Review the flagged content
Choose Mark as Safe or Remove
