Push notification analytics shows every push you’ve sent, including delivery counts, opens, and action clicks. You can filter notifications by audience, date range, or status to quickly find what you’re looking for. Each notification also includes detailed viewport and user-level reporting.

How to use Push Notification Analytics & Filters

  1. Log in, go to Push Notifications in the left navigation

  2. Click the Analytics tab

  3. Review your list of sent notifications

    • Notifications are automatically sorted with the most recent first

    • Each row displays the title, sent date, number of devices reached, number of opens, and action clicks

  4. Click any individual notification to view detailed analytics

    • See viewport charts

    • View unique users who opened the notification

    • See action click counts if you added an action button

  5. Use filters to narrow results

    • Click the Filter field at the top of the analytics page

    • Choose an audience filter: Recent, Archived, or All

    • (Optional) Set a date range by selecting a start and end date

    • Click Search to apply your filters

  6. Review the updated list of notifications that match your filters

  7. Export or record insights as needed for reporting or campaign measurement

  8. Continue optimizing your notification strategy based on opens, actions, and timing

Pro tips

  • It is our strong recommendation that you don’t delete past push notifications, as they contain historical data that powers your analytics and engagement insights.

  • Use a consistent naming format (e.g., “Weekly Update – Nov 16”) so analytics are easier to scan

  • Notifications sent during peak hours typically show higher open rates

  • Use action buttons sparingly—too many can reduce click-throughs

  • Filter by 30-day ranges to evaluate overall notification health and engagement trends
