How to reset a user’s password from the Control Panel

Reset a user’s password when they lose access or request a password change

You can reset a user’s password directly from the Control Panel if they forget their login or are unable to access their account. When you reset it, the user receives a temporary password and is required to create a new secure password when they log in again

Requirements

  • You need to be an App Owner or App Admin

  • Passwords must be six characters long

How to reset a user’s password from the Control Panel

  1. Log in, go to Users in the left navigation

  2. Stay under the User Management tab

  3. Use the search bar to find the user by email

  4. Click the three-dot menu next to the user

    • Click Reset Password

  5. Enter a new password and send the user the temporary password

    • The user will be prompted to create a new password at their next login
