Before You Start Filling Out Publishing Info

Make sure you complete these essential steps first. You’ll need them throughout the publishing process, and you won’t be able to proceed unless they are done:

  1. Create your developer accounts

  2. Set up the App Store Connect API here

  3. Upload your Firebase certificates here

  4. Upload your app icons – Make sure you have icons for both Android and iOS that meet store requirements

Step 1: Access Publishing Info

  1. Log in to your Control Panel (CP).

  2. Navigate to: Settings → App Publishing Info.

    • This is where you provide all the information needed to submit your app for review.

Step 2: Enter Your Contact Information

Fill in the following fields carefully:

  • Full Name – Your name.

  • Phone Number – A number we can reach you on.

  • Primary Email – Your main email address.

  • Developer Name – The name that will appear on the app store.

  • Copyright – Usually your developer name and the current year.

Step 3: Choose Where to Publish

Select the platform(s) where you want your app to appear:

  • App Store (iOS)

  • Google Play Store (Android)

  • Progressive Web App (PWA)

You can choose one, two, or all three.

Step 4: Fill in Platform-Specific Details

For Apple (iOS)

  1. Apple Developer Account – Enter your Apple Developer account info

Make sure you’ve added us as an App Admin in your Apple Developer account (using the email that appears in your Publishing Info section in the Control Panel). This ensures we can access your account to publish and manage your app properly.

  1. App Store Title
The name of your app as it will appear in the App Store. Make it clear, memorable, and reflective of your app’s purpose.

App Store Description

A detailed overview of your app. Highlight its features, benefits, and what makes it unique. This helps users understand why they should download it.

Keywords

Words or phrases that describe your app and improve its discoverability in search results. Use relevant and popular terms your audience might search for.

Support URL

A link where users can get help or contact support if they have questions or issues. Typically your website or a dedicated support page.

Marketing URL (optional)

A link to promotional content about your app, such as a landing page or social media campaign. This helps showcase your app to potential users.

Category

Choose the most relevant category for your app. This ensures it reaches the right audience and improves visibility in app store browsing.

Content Rating

Answer questions about your app’s content, such as whether it includes violence, mature themes, or user-generated content. Selecting the correct rating ensures your app is age-appropriate and speeds up the approval process.

For Google Play (Android)

Store Information – Complete these fields:

Play Store Title

The name of your app as it will appear on Google Play. Make it clear, memorable, and reflective of your app’s purpose. Keep it concise but descriptive.

Play Store Description

A full overview of your app’s features, benefits, and unique value. Highlight what makes your app stand out.

  • Best practice:
Focus on clarity, include keywords naturally, and avoid copying your short description—using identical text in both may lead to rejection.

Short Description

A brief summary of your app that appears in search results and at the top of your app listing.

  • Best practice: Make it punchy and compelling, distinct from your full description, while still clearly conveying what your app does.

Content Rating

Answer questions about your app’s content, such as violence, mature themes, or user-generated content. Correct ratings ensure age-appropriate visibility and smoother approval.

Miscellaneous Questions

Provide complete and accurate answers about your app’s features, functionality, and content. This includes whether your app contains ads, in-app purchases, or any sensitive material. Clear and accurate answers help prevent delays or rejection during the review process.

Step 5: Optional Documents

There’s a field for Optional Documents. To speed up the process if your app is denied, you can submit a document that proves ownership. For Apple Individual or Organization accounts, usually only one valid ownership document is required.

Step 6: Review and Publish

Carefully review all the information you entered, including app details, descriptions, URLs, and content ratings.

Click Publish to submit your app for review.

Tip: Double-check everything before publishing. Accurate and complete information helps your app get approved faster and reduces the chances of rejection or delays.
